When we work with you to put together your TV commercial, we usually gather information that helps us target a production that meets your needs. The first four questions are about your media buy. Question 5-10 help you clarify what you’re doing with producing the actual commercial. Answering all the questions below helps you clarify how you’ll approach this expenditure and get the most for your money.

MEDIA BUY QUESTIONS

1) What type of person do you want to reach? For example, in Pinellas County you have three zones you can sell to, North, Mid and South County. Each zone carries a different rate structure?
2) Do you have an idea of what network, news program, etc. and do you think your new clients might be watching?
3) What is your budget for advertising? To be effective, someone needs to see your ad 3.1 times. So perhaps you might saturate your first week and then the three remaining weeks, fewer ads. There are several strategies that work, it’s just up to you to choose one (Don’t worry, we’ll meet with you before hand to nail all this down). We’ve seen businesses spend as little as $400/month and that works for their business. This company has been on the air for several years now and they have penetrated the market and a lower price point works for them.
4) Do we have enough time to produce a commercial, using some of the guidelines below? Usually about two weeks lead time to produce and edit an effective 30 second spot.
